Or maybe a nice evening walk is more your style during our scheduled class time.  If you aren't able to make it to class, the link will be made available to you and active to use for 7 days following the original class time. DYNAMIC MOVEMENT FOR VITALITY + ENERGY + WELLNESS

Our 4-week early spring session runs via Zoom from: Monday, March 8-Saturday- April 3, 2021

Anna's diverse education and experience allows for a wide variety of achievable and rewarding classes for body and mind.

Ranging from energizing barre, fusion and Essentrics®, to more therapeutic somatic movement and healing yoga, students will benefit with an overall sense of well-being.

Offered online and live via Zoom, all classes are non-impact with whole-body integration and are accessible for many skill levels and abilities. The flexible class pass option allows more diverse scheduling.

YOGA FOR STRENGTH, ENERGY AND MOBILITY

Active Flow to Slow Yoga: Monday 7pm EST (75min)

Active Flow to Slow Yoga is a medium-paced class geared for those who have experienced the sensations while in yoga poses and for those who enjoy the brief challenges we have on our mats.  This class is moderately paced, moving to build heat, then slowing down the pace down to enjoy a variety of longer holds and meditation.

MOVEMENT FOR INNER CALM & HEALING

No yoga experience is required:)

Slow Mo Yo (ga) Saturday 4:00pm EST (60 min)

Slow Mo Yo (ga) draws on the wisdom ancient yogis intuitively knew and practiced: moving slowly is healthy. By doing so, it allows the nervous system to heal, creates ease in the joints and tissues and provides us with enhanced mood and self-regulation. Both the body and mind are deeply soothed and receive the benefits of resilience.

                             

Using a variety of yogic and somatic techniques, we'll breathe and stretch to refresh our bodies and calm the mind.  Each week, we'll explore simple and satisfying movement and yogic practices that leave us feeling wholly refreshed, energized and calm.

No yoga experience is required

ESSENTRICS®

Wednesday 8pm EST (60min)

This energizing and dynamic full-body workout stretches and strengthens your body, de-compresess joints & leaves you feeling great! Essentrics® is uniquely able to rebalance your body while preventing injury and improving overall well-being, strength and mobility.

Non-impact and accessible, it's perfect for all ages and abilities.


Created by Miranda Esmonde-White, Essentrics® is an innovative and natural way to exercise.

As a former ballerina with the National Ballet of Canada, her unique program draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which promote health and balance, and the strengthening theories of ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles. And combined with the healing principles of physiotherapy, this class encourages a more flexible and pain-free body.

BARRE & FUSION FITNESS

Barre: Tuesday 8pm EST (45min)

Fusion Fitness: Saturday 11am EST

Talk about fun and refreshing!  Both of these dynamic, non- impact classes are designed to challenge our muscles, the raise heart rate and provide opportunities to feel into our balance and strength.   

  • Barre doesn't require any dance experience to enjoy this fun and invigorating workout! It will challenge the small muscles, tone the larger ones, raise your heart rate and keep you sweating and smiling for more.

     Though influenced by ballet techniques, there's no need to be intimidated! This class offers a challenging and achievable bit of cardio, balance work and targeted muscle toning. You'll be jazzed with how quickly the body responds to the program. And it's fun!

  • Fusion Fitness is a movement buffet!  Imagine: elements from our fave fitness routines, pilates, barre and yoga all rolled into a fun mix. That's Fusion Fitness, a dynamic, non-impact, full-body toning.  Hello energy!

ACTIVE AGEING STRENGTH & BALANCE

Strength & Balance: Monday 11am EST

(45min with 5-10 minutes of bodymind technique)

Note: this class is priced at a Seniors' rate (please see pricing page)

This class offers the benefit of full-body conditioning, with the added benefit of increased flexibility and balance.   We'll mix standing and seated exercises.  And focus on muscle endurance and strengthening; with the use of simple, inexpensive and readily available equipment. Balance training is incorporated into the class through simple and effective techniques to invigorate the balance reflexes.
